Mt Rinjani is an excellent mountain for beginner and intermediate mountaineers. It provides an excellent introduction to multi-day treks in the great outdoors. Having climbed mount Rinjani, many of our clients go on to climb other great mountains around the world. For this reason we’ve included quite a few guiding companies in this list, so you can take your experience gained on Lombok and build on it elsewhere in the world.
