Your journey begins in the serene rice terraces of Terisgenit, where you’ll meet your guide and enjoy a warm welcome with coffee and snacks. After a quick briefing, embark on a scenic trek across the valley to the lush rainforests of the Senaru Waterfall Trail. Here, you’ll discover the breathtaking Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, with time to rest and soak in the refreshing mist of these natural wonders.
Following your trek, you’ll arrive at Cafe Rinjani Dawn, where a delicious lunch and refreshments await. Relax on the café’s terrace, enjoying stunning views of Senaru’s rice fields and distant ocean. In the afternoon, continue your adventure with a guided panorama walk to the traditional Sasak village. Learn about the unique customs and culture of this historic community before heading to your campsite overlooking the majestic Tiu Kelep waterfall. Enjoy a peaceful evening with dinner and refreshments delivered directly to your tent, completing a day filled with exploration and unforgettable moments.
Approximate Timeline:
- 09:30 AM – Arrive at Terisgenit, meet your guide, and enjoy coffee and snacks.
- 10:00 AM – Begin your trek across the valley to Senaru and the Senaru Waterfall Trail.
- 11:00 AM – Arrive at Sendang Gile waterfall. Take a 15-minute break to enjoy the surroundings.
- 11:30 AM – Continue to Tiu Kelep waterfall, with time to explore and take photos.
- 01:00 PM – Return to Cafe Rinjani Dawn for a delicious lunch and refreshments. Relax & take a rest.
- 03:00 PM – Guided panorama walk to the traditional Sasak village.
- 05:00 PM – Arrive at the campsite overlooking Tiu Kelep waterfall. Dinner and refreshments delivered to your tent.
Useful Information:
- Flexibility: The tour is designed to be flexible. If you prefer to skip the Terisgenit to Senaru rice field walk and focus only on the Senaru Waterfall Trail, this can be easily arranged. Please let us know your preferences in advance.
- Trail Map: Please note that the Terisgenit Trail is not shown on the map and elevation profile below; these only depict the Senaru Waterfall Trail portion of the day.
- Weather Contingency: In the event of inclement weather, such as heavy rain, camping can be substituted with budget accommodation in Senaru at no additional cost. Your safety and comfort are our priorities.
- Essential Gear: Bring comfortable walking shoes, lightweight clothing, and a waterproof jacket or poncho for the rainforest environment. If you plan to swim at Tiu Kelep Waterfall, pack swimwear and a towel.
- Hydration and Snacks: Bottled water and light snacks are provided during the trek. If you prefer, you may bring a reusable water bottle.
- River Crossings: There are two river crossings on the trail, with water typically reaching knee height. Sandals or water shoes are recommended, but you can go barefoot if preferred. Your guide will ensure safe crossings.
- Camping Meals: Dinner at the campsite includes dishes from our restaurant menu, delivered by motorbike. Choose from traditional Indonesian meals or Western options like pizza and burgers. Ice-cold beverages, including beer, can also be delivered upon request.
- Left Luggage: Any unnecessary items or valuables can be securely stored at Cafe Rinjani Dawn during your trek.
- Wildlife and Environment: The rainforest is home to monkeys and other wildlife. Please respect their natural habitat by not feeding or disturbing them. Help us preserve the beauty of this area by adhering to a “leave no trace” policy.
- Relaxation Time: Enjoy a leisurely lunch and refreshments at Cafe Rinjani Dawn, with ample time to unwind and soak in the panoramic views of Senaru’s lush landscapes.
